Ras al-Khaimah
One of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates. Ras Al Khaimah is in the southern part of the Persian Gulf. It is in the northern part of the UAE bordering Oman.
The city has two main sections, Old Ras Al Khaimah and Nakheel, on either side of the creek which flows through Ras Al Khaimah.
Ras al-Khaimah is slated to host the 33rd America's Cup in February 2010.
